Unpacking after a vacation is the pits, so I made this instead. Don’t you do that too? In times of stress, crochet a doily? I do recommend it. I saw the one Jacquie made, and then found my way to the pattern. There is something so soothing about crocheting; I can recall referring to it as The Dark Art, and I can’t believe that now. Crochet, you are lovely.

ReplyDeletemany years ago, i considred crochet to be ugly, now i am completely IN LOVE with it. as you said, crocheting is a soothing activity, it always makes me feel happy and i forget all the stress and unhappy moments life can sometimes bring. your doily is absolutely adorable, i am going to print the pattern right this minute! your blog is beautiful !
