If I hadn’t run out of wire, I would’ve made more than just these two rings. They’re so easy! The hardest part was trying to photograph myself wearing them and not having my fingers look like sausages.
Or wrinkled and claw-like.
Well, never mind my crone’s hands, can you see the rings? Aren’t they sweet? I followed this tutorial, and there’s nothing required but a bead, some wire, and a few tools. Fabulous!
Kristen, they are really fantastic. I am going to mention your ripple washcloth today if you don't mind. I am in love with what you made and have been a bit obsessed making them myself.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day,

Thanks very much, Meredith, and of course I don't mind--mention away! :)
Deleteoh wow, i love the pearly-glass bead ring. lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am always self conscious about my hands, mainly because they are always dry and cracked and I chew my nails! But also because they are the shape of my Dad's - small and square. Why oh why could I not have taken on my Mam's delicate hands with little pointy tipped fingers. Anyway, that apart - I love the design of the rings. I have a similar one that was my Mam's when she was a teenager. I have always loved its simplicity. Lily. xxx
ReplyDeleteThey're really, really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty! I've had the same problem trying to photograph my hands -- no matter what I do, they look weird:)
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty! Something else to add to my ever growing list of things to make

ReplyDeleteYour hands look fine and the rings are adorable! I really like the wrap that ties behind. What a brilliant IDEA! Thank you for sharing what you do with all of us!

hello, love your creative work. A trick for taking pictures of your hands is to hold you hands up vertical not horizontal and the blood flows down and the ropey veins (I have tons on my hands) disappear!!did i spell THAT RIGHT? HMM..keep up the great work!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! I'm going to try it next time. :)
