Scarf

DSCF3190a

I don’t know what took me so long to get around to making a granny square scarf.  I love grannies so much, it seems like it would have jumped to the front before this, but anyway, oh my.  A granny square scarf.  Most satisfying.  More satisfying by far than the still-discombobulated sewing machine, which is defying all logic and thwarting even the most mechanically-minded among my tribe, and which is therefore going to visit the professional repairman this week.  Must crochet medicinally.  More scarves.  Yes, that’s the ticket.

  2. Love those colors Kristen. So perfect for Fall. As for the sewing machine; when those things monkey up to where you want to rip hair out, just find some calming crochet to work on and all is better. :)

  10. Granny ripple shawl in the works but set aside while i whip up a quick baby ripple ghan....
New little boy being born next month and in my mind all babies need a lightweight car blanket.... so much easier to keep one in the back next to the car seat instead of dragging one in and out!!!
Found a new multi yarn on the market and it looks ideal for a granny scarf - which is how it is featured in the Lionbrand article!!!! Perhaps thee will be one n my future as well.....
Love YOUR colors as I always do!!!!! (Best of luck on the machine)

  11. I made a heap of granny squares some time back (isn't it addictive?!?) and tried to fix them all together to make a scarf. I found it really fiddly, though (even after watching several YouTube videos). And I gave up in the end. Any tips???
